SF City Impact is a non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco. We ensure that every decision keeps our pace, benefits our people, and helps track towards our strategic plan.
ROLE SUMMARY
Drive to locations throughout the City and surrounding areas to pick up donations & resources.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive van or other SFCI vehicles to do daily donation pick-ups
Follows assigned schedule to ensure timely pickups
Sets a good and professional demeanor while driving and interacting with clients, schools, and other businesses
Basic maintenance of SFCI vehicles (clean and check the oil and other simple maintenance)
Drive passengers (kids) and handle trash runs as required
Purchases supplies for teams & kitchen areas as necessary
Help with all outreaches, food drives, and special events
Maintain company logs and reports
Work most holidays
QUALIFICATIONS:
Agreement with Statement of Faith, theology, and core values of SF City Impact
Good organizational and communications skills
Punctual for work and avoid making non-work-related appointments during scheduled work time
Able to work under pressure
Hard worker and team player
Proven working experience as a driver
Valid professional Class B California driver’s license
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Clean driving record
High school degree
Able to carry up to 20lbs
Must have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Must be committed to serving God and the body of Christ
SCHEDULE
Full-time
Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
REPORTS TO
General Manager
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently required to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to physically move and carry boxes.
